Graduation

Graduation came, and now it's time for ourselves to part ways and leave Abu Dhabi for our new life in the Philippines awaits. Tonight I'll be flying back home (I'm quite late compared to my friends who already left AUH). I'll be having my 4 hr stop over at Changi airport and might visit the bookstores and Watson's there (hello asian nail polishes and books!)

When I first saw this dress from Zara, I knew that I had to get it! But then I had to wait a few more months to wear it for my Graduation. I love the color and the simplicity of the dress. It doesn't look that boring because it has some cut outs in the sleeves! :)

Summing it up

As some of you might know, I'll be graduating from high school in a few weeks. Which is quite sad. So I'm busy busy busy packing things up, getting my requirements done for clearance and spending more time with family and friends. And to mention that me and some of my friends took our class picture and toga pictures! :D

One thing that I wanna blog about is my prom gown. I've had it for a year now because I had it tailored in the Philippines and yes, I designed it! I got the beading inspiration from a Seventeen prom magazine which I got from booksale last year when I had my vacation and I came up with a coral/peach pink color. It has over 5 layers of tulle (I loveeee tulle and chiffon!!) I had the peticoat (?) taken out because of the feeling that I may have a hard time walking properly during the prom. I've been wearing this casio digital watch lately together with my colorful trinkets.

Field Treat!

We had our fieldtrip and retreat at Iceland! On the first day, we went to Ikea to grab some breakfast before we  went to ride a 3-4 hour bus going to Ras Al Khaimah. Had fun as much as I cried because of the activities they had for us on the retreat. But I faced my fear and tried the notorious slides in Ice Land! Wooot! 1 out from my bucket list!

Preloved's photoshoot

Had our photoshoot for Preloved at the beach yesterday with Casey. The weather didn't even feel like spring/summer because it was really gloomy when we went to the beach and when we were about to be finished, raindrops strated to fall!

MARNI at H&M

So the Marni at H&M officially hit the racks today. I didn't get a chance to get something from the previous H&M collaborations so I made sure that I will get something today! I went to Abu Dhabi mall at around 7:40 AM. And yes, I kind of ditched school for that......

But! Lucky me that I didn't have to get through a long queue to shop at that time. I saw a twitpic that shows a long line in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai just to get in the shop. I expected that there'll be a line or something (Just like in the H&M Opening) but when I went there, there wasn't any line!

 I went in, and saw that all of the staff and shoppers are going crazy. The staff were arranging and changing the racks while the shoppers go crazy with the collection! I was eyeing for the Sequined Collar but it was already sold out when i got there. So I just went for the plastic tote bag. I also wanted to get the trousers but maybe next time, when I have my own job and have my own salary! Haha! :-)

Comeback

Last week, Me and my friend Denisse went to a photowalk! We first grabbed some cupcakes and did some catching up with our lives. Then we headed to corniche to take some pictures and went to a park. We walked and walked till we decided to rent a bike while taking photos.  It was reaaaaal fun! =)

ANYWAYS Here's an outfit post to make up for the 3 months of not posting. I studied for college entrance exams, school works, Christmas vacation and the list goes on and on.
